What is sound healing therapy?

Sound healing therapy is a gentle practice that uses sound and vibration to bring harmony to your body and mind. During a session, healing bowls are placed on or near your body, producing soothing tones and gentle vibrations that travel through your muscles and cells, helping you release tension and feel calm.

These vibrations can help you:

  • Enter a deep state of relaxation and peace

  • Release physical, mental, and energetic tension

  • Calm and regulate your nervous system

  • Balance and align your body’s energy centers (chakras)

All you need to do is lie down, close your eyes, and let the sounds and my guidance support your relaxation. If you’re new to meditation, sound healing makes it easier to slip into a calm, meditative state. If you already meditate, the vibrations can help you go even deeper.

 What to expect in a session

Your session begins with a gentle 10-minute yoga practice (optional) to release tension and prepare your body and mind to relax.

After that, you’ll lie down—first face down, so the vibrations can work through your back and lower body. Then you’ll turn onto your back with an eye pillow, as the sounds move through your lower body, heart, and higher energetic points.

As the bowls are placed gently on or near your body, you’ll hear soothing tones and feel subtle vibrations ripple through your muscles. 

Many people describe the sensation as waves of sound flowing through them, creating both deep stillness and a feeling of lightness.

What to wear to your session


For your sound healing session, comfort and light clothes are key. Wear loose, soft clothing that allows you to fully relax—yoga pants, leggings, or sweatpants with a light top work perfectly.

Avoid belts, zippers, or thick fabrics, since they can restrict the vibrations of the bowls on your muscles.

Cozy socks are fine if you’d like to stay warm while lying down.
