Explanation of course
For most people, Yoga means physical activity, the asanas more specifically. Asanas are yoga postures. But yoga goes above and beyond that… What exactly it is? And how this practice can change people’s lives in a good way?
The reality is that so much is lost when we try to summarize what yoga really is.
With this course, you will understand the essence of Yoga, its origins, and the goal of yoga and we will introduce you to the 8 steps to reach enlightenment based on the yoga sutras of Patanjali.
Module 1
What is yoga? What is the goal of yoga?
Most people think that yoga is only a physical practice. With this module, you will realize what yoga is really about and how Its most transformative effects are found in practices like meditation, selfless service, and personal behavior.
Module 2
We will explain the yoga sutras of Patanjali, one of the most important books of yoga. It contains organized knowledge about yoga from much older traditions and 8 specific steps to reach enlightenment
Module 3:
We are all different, and what works for you, may not be the same that works for me! That is why we are going to explain the different styles of yoga practices in this course. You can choose the one that resonates with you
